Updated: December 30, 2011, 06:01

BOLTON, England(AP) Bolton manager Owen Coyle says his club has agreed on a fee with Chelsea for the sale of England defender Gary Cahill.

Cahill's representatives are now in talks with Chelsea over the 26-year-old center half's personal terms.

Cahill is out of contract at the end of the season so could leave Bolton, which is second from bottom in the Premier League, for around 7 million pounds ($11 million).

He will compete with captain John Terry and Brazil international David Luiz for a place in the first team at Chelsea, which is in fourth place in the standings and has slipped 11 points behind the two Manchester clubs in the title race.
