Portland Timbers

The Portland Timbers are owned by Peregine Sports, LLC. Peregrine Sports LLC is owned by Henry Merritt Paulson III. Paulson graduated from Hamilton College with a Bachelor in Arts in 1995 and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School thereafter. Prior to owning sports teams, Paulson worked as a senior marketing and development director for the NBA. He also owns Shortstop LLC, an invesment group that purchased the Portland Beavers and the and Portland Timbers from California business man Abe Alizadeh.
