Juan Agudelo
Juan Agudelo, born November 23, 1992 in Manizales, Colombia, is one of the leagues most talented young strikers. He and his family moved to the United States when he was only seven years of age, settling in Barnegat Township, New Jersey, where currently lives with his family and plays for the New York Red Bulls.
Red Bulls coach Hans Backe said that Juans skill is so good that it can be compared with European forwards of the same age, in terms of individual skill. Agudelos professional career with Major League soccer started in April of 2010 in a US Open Cup game.
A staple on the US Under-17 and Under-20 sides, he was first called up to the senior national team in November of 2010. On his senior national team debut against South Africa, he scored the only goal of the match, and in doing so became the youngest player in national team history to ever score in a senior match.
