Chivas USA

Chivas USA is owned by Mexican businessman and film producer Jorge Vergara. Born in Guadalajara, Vergara began his business career by selling tacos on the street. Later moving on to condominiums and timeshares, he met up with John Peterson, who later got Vergara involved with Herbalife. Vergara is now the founder of Grupo Omnilife, a large Mexican corporation. Grupo Omnilife owns multiple soccer clubs, including Club Deportivo Guadalajara of Mexico, Chivas Hefei of Mexico, and Chivas USA of the United States.
