Benny Feilhaber was born January 19, 1985 in Rio De Janerio, Brazil. He moved to the United States with his family when he was six years old, relocating to the suburbs of New York City. After to moving to California and graduating high school, he walked on the UCLA men's soccer team. Feilhaber also contributed greatly to the U-20 national team, and while playing overseas was noticed by many scouts in Europe.
In 2005 Feilhaber signed with the German Bundesliga's club Hamburg. After an average run with the German club he then moved the newly promoted English Premier League?s Derby County. After another rough season and the club facing relegation, he moved to the Danish Superliga AGF.
It was here where Feilhaber found his momentum again, playing well and scoring big goals, earning "great respect" from his club fans. He then was signed to the MLS club New England Revolution, where he has already made a big impact on the pitch.
