EXCURSIONS AND PLACES TO VISIT

Alton Towers (20 minutes from Keele)
Just 20 minutes from Keele. Alton Towers is Britain’s biggest Theme Park. If you are looking for a day packed full of excitement and fun, you will find it here. In 2010 Alton Park introduced a fantastic new ultimate thriller ride ‘Th13teen Roller Coaster Ride’.

WaterWorld Aqua Disco (15 minutes from Keele)
Water World is the UK’s number one Tropical Indoor Aqua Park. The Facility is built around a wave pool with slides, rides, flumes and features available. There is plenty to do for all ages, weak and strong swimmers. Only 15 minutes from the university.

World Famous Pottery – The Wedgewood Visitor Centre (10 minutes from Keele)
Wedgewood Visitors Centre and Museum. At the Centre, in addition to world-class restaurants and shopping for exquisite ceramic and glass tableware and gifts, they can offer everyone – from the connoisseur to the casual visitor, for adults and children, whether of UK or international origin, an enthralling experience.

Aerial Extreme(15 minutes from Keele)
Aerial Extreme is so much more than just and Adventure Ropes Course. Bring your team together and develop teamwork, communication and self-esteem. With varying levels, the courses are ideal for all.

Paintball Delta Force (30 minutes from Keele)
Paintball games are great fun, wonderful exercise and a great ‘leveller’ (no previous experience or pre-existing sporting ability is needed). Delta Force has a 100% safety record.

Half day visit to Liverpool (1 hour from Keele)
Liverpool is more than just a city with a big reputation – it’s the centre of a vast area of beauty, culture and entertainment that deserves exploration. Take the Duck tour – sightseeing tour you will never forget. Don’t miss the famous Beatles Museum and end your day with visit to Liverpool FC – Anfield Stadium.

Half day visit to Chester (40 minutes from Keele)
